Bailen Playing Around!!

Bailen is now sitting up and pulling himself into the standing position...he sits up and then peeks through the slats of his crib when I go to get him up from his naps...so very cute those little blue eyes looking at me with that big cheesey grin!  He is such a very happy little man...always showing off his 6 brand new chompers when he smiles!  He had his 6 month check up today and with his crawling all over the house, standing and walking along the couch, and crawling up the stairs, his pediatrician gave me the news that she wouldn't be surprised if Bailen walked at 8 or 9 months...WOW!!  We are in trouble then!!

Bailen and his toys!!

Bailen LOVES tractors and the ride along lawn mowers...he kicks and smiles, squeals whenever he sees his daddy or Grandpa on any of the farm equipment!  His Grandma Sue brought Bailen a green tractor that used to be his cousin CJ's and Carly's when they were little like him (about 15 years ago!!).  He loves to sit on it or push it around the living room!  He also loves to ride in his little friend Ty's bouncy horse, which of course has little horsey sound effects, and then loves to crawl in, around, under, and over any and all of his toys!  One of his favorite toys is one that his Aunt Lindsey and Davie and Reece Bug got him for Christmans before he was born...it has singing animals all over it and balls that you can stick into it and watch them roll around and have to guess where they land...now only if it had volume control !!!  :)  Such a very active little explorer that keeps his mom and dad busy and entertained!!

Bailen with Chance and Sissy girl!!

It is truly amazing how good our household four legged family members have taken to little Bailen!!  Chance doesn't know it yet...but he and Bailen are going to be VERY best friends in the next couple of years grasshopper hunting together...for now...Chance is an excellent 'babysitter' and 'supervisor' of Bailen!  The surprising one is Sissy girl.  She is so very much a diva and all about herself...but yet she lets Bailen grab her tail and use her as a jungle gym (all the while of course with mom and dad teaching him to pet, not 'pat' and to be gentle with Sissy's tail!!).

Beautiful Jackson Hole, Wyoming!!!

Jackson Hole was so very amazing...so pristine and beautiful with tons of wildlife!
Bailen was a little champ on the plane, car rides, and shopping through town.  Would love to go back someday when he is older and we can do some hiking!  We were invited by some friends and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them and having them show us around! The Tetons are so incredible...almost majestic...pictures don't do them justice and you really have to see them and all Jackson Hole holds in its little valley of paradise to appreciate them!  If you click on the photos you can get a larger view of the elk and the Tetons...so much fun and so incredibly beautiful!!

Bailen Farming and supervising cousin CJ and Dad!!

Bailen helping his cousin, CJ, rake hay in the hay field. He was such a happy and helpful little farmer!! He loves that tractor!!  He also did a good job of supervising his dad and cousin CJ not only haying the hay field, but worming all the cows and then banding this years baby bulls...poor CJ wasn't even gradually worked into farming with Mark...he was thrown into it and he did awesome...made his little cousin Bailen proud!!

Bailen's first 4th of July!

Welcome to Bailen's Blog
updates will be coming soon !
For Bailen's first 4th of July, his Uncle Joey and Aunt Jami came up from Vancouver with their boat and Bailen's cousins, CJ and Abbi.  We had a BLAST with them and are so very sad we don't live closer to them!!  We spent the day on Joey's boat crabbing and fishing, and then boated down from Joemma Beach to Olympia and had dinner at Anthony's...then boated back home.  Bailen had so much fun on the boat sporting his sunglasses and charming all of us with his giggles and babbling!  He really enjoyed having all of our attention all of the time!  Poor guy was also working on his first two bottom teeth, so his little mouth hurt...nothing that a little watermelon rine wouldn't fix!!  Yummy!!
